Opleiding

Willem studeerde 'Production Management and Scenic Design' aan de Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in Londen.

Theater

Hij was als production stage manager onder andere verantwoordelijk voor musicals als Starlight Express (Bochum), Miss Saigon (Stuttgart), Disney's Beauty and the Beast (Londen & Stuttgart), Hunchback of Notre Dame (Berlijn) en The Lion King (Hamburg).

Ervaring

Willem was tevens verantwoordelijk voor de productionele planning van de opera's The Impresario en Prima La Musica, Poi La Parole in Londen en Gershwin's Porgy and Bess in Bregenz. Hij verzorgde als productie manager industriële evenementen in onder andere Engeland, Duitsland, Oostenrijk en Amerika voor DaimlerChrystler en Citroën. Willem was uitvoerend producent van Titanic de Musical in Hamburg. Hij keerde terug naar Nederland om als associate international producer voor Stage Holding te werken aan onder andere Les Misérables in Berlijn, Cabaret en Cats in Spanje. Als productioneel directeur was hij voor meer dan 7 jaar eindverantwoordelijk voor alle productionele aangelegenheden binnen Joop van den Ende Theaterproducties. Vandaag de dag is hij general manager van de nieuw opgezette afdeling Stage Entertainment Licensed Productions en verantwoordelijk voor de wereldwijde verspreiding van de eigen producties van de organisatie.

As Executice Producer he had final responsibility for al the productional matters within Joop van den Ende Theaterproducties for over 7 years. Today Willem is General Manager of the new Stage Entertainment department; Stage Entertainment Licensed Productions and responsible for the world-wide roll-out of all the organization's own musical content.
