Are you a Commercial Manager who shares our passion and dares to challenge and likes to be challenged? The Commercial Manager will report to the Managing Director of our Italian operations who is (P&L) responsible for the venue(s) and Stage Entertainment’s running productions in Italy.
The responsibilities of the Commercial Manager will include:
Leading and developing a strong commercial team
Co-defining (with the MD and the Venue Director at HQ) an ambitious but realistic business plan for the operations in The Lirico Theatre and the Theatre Nazionale and subsequently monitoring and managing annual financial goals of this business plans specifically related to revenue streams for events, sponsoring and front of house sales;
Being responsible together with the Managing Director for the revenue streams of our Italian operations
Management of current business relationships and optimize long-term strategic partnership activation through expansion and intensifying of these relations;
Preparing and implementing an acquisition plan for new partners: preparation process, approaching potential new sponsors/partners, developing sponsor propositions, negotiating and drafting contracts, activation, organization, coordination and evaluation;
Tracking and analyzing trends in sponsor market and apply them in creative, partner propositions and activations;
Identifying and implementing new ways to achieve revenue and margin targets;
Supervising back office colleagues who co-manage activation and organization;
Communicate and embed partnerships within all disciplines of our Italian organization;
Preparation of financial analyses, reports and improvement recommendations.
Have you got …?
Around 10 years of experience in comparable roles
A proven track record in building effective partnership deals and exploitation of venues (eg would be very much appreciated experiences and partnership closed in events connected with the fashion weeks, EXPO 2015, Salone del Mobile, EICMA, MICAM, MADE EXPO, Olympics game, international celebrations, Design week, Gaming Expo etc.)
Strong commercial attitude and an active network of corporate partners
An attitude of thinking out of the box to create unexpected ways to generate revenues
Experience in building customized sponsorship deals
Experience in working with corporate partners to jointly develop new commercial projects
An economic degree
Good knowledge of sales, events and sponsoring activities
Awareness of important commercial KPI’s
Experience in coordinating stakeholders and maintaining relationships to reach defined objectives
Excellent interpersonal, communication and written skills
Excellent Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills
Fluent in English
