Job Description
An opportunity exists for an Operational Excellence Analyst who has a successful track record in multiple, different, situations with a blend of operational, financial and reporting skills, and a rigorous approach to delivering transformation. Monitoring and supporting rapid transformation and change in a dynamic, multi-disciplined business with a mandate for change. As part of the HQs Operational Excellence team based in Amsterdam (The Netherlands) and reporting to the Programme Director for (Group Director Operational Excellence ) a companywide Programme, the successful appointee will help drive significant change and continuous improvements of the operations, specifically in the key specialism of Programme Management and helping implement change. They will reflect fact-based and analytical approach, operational distinctiveness; be solution focused, determined to make a difference and not afraid to challenge the status-quo. Specifically, the Operational Excellence Analyst will be responsible for tracking a major programme of change and provide execution support for such Programme, working with many stakeholders to ensure sustainability in the ongoing business and Centre of knowledge
Desired Skills and Experiencees
The successful candidate will be a high-energy and respected Operational Excellence Analyst with a track record in Performance Improvement Programmes preferably in an international environment. Experience in developing and managing a Programme Management Office (PMO) at speed; maintaining a rigorous weekly reporting cycle responsible for programme tracking, financial forecasting, reporting, plan development, risk mitigation, cost monitoring, deep dive analysis, and delivery of savings. The appointee will be comfortable in developing analytics, reporting / KPIs and financial monitoring tools. Candidates will have a tight grasp on performance improvement and challenges in such areas as:
- Maximising the value that can be captured from commercial and operational performance improvement
- Monitoring a major change programme and identify and track the necessary changes to realize improvements in long-term performance
- KPI dashboard development
- Identifying cost saving opportunities and potential opportunities for improvement in long term performance. Skilled in diagnostics and implementing changes to capture value and minimise risk to the organisation
- Efficient communication as well as stakeholder management
- Understanding the inherent value in the business and its drivers
- You have 2-5 years experience in a similar role
