Corporate Communication Support 32 - 40 hours:

The Corporate communications department at the International Headquarters located in Amsterdam plays a key role in how our employees, the media and the general public perceive us as a company to enhance and safeguard our reputation. To that aim we oversee a wide range of on- and offline communication activities and channels to engage our employees with the progress of our strategy and create a shared sense of belonging, develop messages to deliver to the media, advise our leadership on their communication efforts and we develop new initiatives to keep Stage Entertainment on the cutting edge of communications. In short, the Corporate Communications department tells the story of the company behind our shows.


The department is a small and close team and consists of 2 employees Corporate Communications and the Group Director Corporate Communications, to whom you report. You are required to work from the Amsterdam office at least three days per week.


This position gives you the opportunity to work on an international level to help shape the communication of the organization. But also requires, because we are a small team, creativity and a hands-on mentality.


Specific responsibilities:

  • Creates content (visuals and text) for the Corporate Communications channels such as the corporate website, Sharepoint, the internal online newsletter, and social media
  • Creates and edits internal and external videos such as Business updates, employee engagement videos and DEI videos et cetera.
  • Provides support for a variety of employee, management and corporate (internal) events.
  • Identifies and analyzes opportunities to optimize communications and channels and translates these into creative ideas and result-oriented activities

 

Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor degree preferably in the field of Communication, Creative Business, Media studies, Film- and audiovisual media or other relevant education.
  • Experience with video editing, preferably in Premiere Pro.
  • Experience with design programs e.g. Canva, Photoshop and Foleon
  • Experience with CMS Drupal and Google Analytics is a pre.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint or employee engagement apps is a pre
  • Relevant working experience in communications departments is a pre
  • Good, professional language skills in Dutch & English, both spoken and written.
  • Experience in or affinity with theater and /or the media/entertainment sector is a plus.
  • You are enthusiastic, creative, flexible, and have hands-on mentality.
