Here is where your challenge starts:
As Finance Specialist Ticketing, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective and efficient operation of all finance related processes connected to Stage Entertainment’s ticketing platform. Since 1 January 2026, Stage Entertainment operates its own ticketing platform, making this a pivotal role in safeguarding the accuracy, automation, and continuous development of the financial processes and system integrations that support it.
Operating with a high degree of autonomy within Group financial frameworks, you will manage the finance integrations between the ticketing platform and Workday Finance to facilitate automated accounting processes and oversee payment reconciliations. You will lead recurring month-end activities as well as initiatives focused on issue resolution, process enhancement, and further system development.
In this role, you will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including Ticketing teams (such as the Center of Excellence Ticketing), Group IT (including Workday Finance CoE and integration experts), Group and Country Finance teams, Country Commercial teams, Group Treasury, and external specialists.
You are proactive in identifying issues and improvement opportunities, with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and delivering tangible results. Reporting directly to the Director Group Control, you will be instrumental in ensuring that the financial backbone of our ticketing operations continues to evolve and perform at the highest standard.
Specific responsibilities:
Monitors the various (finance) integrations between ticketing platform and Workday finance.
Supports countries with analyzing and resolving reconciliation issues.
Manages issue resolution by and works jointly to resolve issues with expert teams: Center of Excellence Ticketing, IT Integrations and Center of Excellence Workday Finance.
Leads cross-functional projects involving change requests, process redesign and system enhancements and monitors how these impact the integrations and accounting.
Continuously looks for further enhancements in processes, integration set-up and documentation.
Supports transformation initiatives within Ticketing, IT, and other business areas.
Performs reconciliation between ticketing platform and the Payment Service Provider Platform, follows-up and resolves issues.
Monitors and investigates disputes
Closely works with Center of Excellence Ticketing, Customer Service, Country Commercial and Finance teams and Group Treasury.
Aligns with Ticketing, IT, Finance, and Corporate stakeholders on finance process requirements, performance and continuous further development.
Proactively engages stakeholders and is leading successful issue resolution and improvement implementation.
Support and works closely with the Financial Accountant and Business Controller responsible for the Ticketing activities / entity.
Support and works closely with the Group Treasury responsible for the Payment Service Provider Platform
Works closely with the Group Risk & Internal Controls Manager to ensure adequate controls are in place and evidenced.
Supports Group audits and shareholder audits.
Qualifications and experience:
Strong knowledge of accounting, reconciliations, management reporting, and financial controls
Understanding of financial system integrations; experience with Workday and Boomi is a plus
Familiarity with payment processes and dispute resolution
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data
Proficiency in spreadsheet-based analysis and financial modelling
Experience designing and improving financial processes and controls
Ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and drive process improvements
Structured problem-solving skills with strong planning and prioritization abilities
Proactive, results-driven, and a strong sense of ownership
Knowledge of MS Office;
Knowledge of Workday security is a plus;
Fluent in English (both verbal and written)
Master’s degree in economic studies
Minimum of 4-6 years relevant working experience
